Hey, Listen! 013: Writing Inspiration

Right now, if you are reading this right as I am posting it, then it is probably your lunch break on just another manic Monday. You’re at work, maybe wishing you were anywhere else in the world, but this is what you have to do to pay the bills.

If only you could become an author, then you could publish books and quit your job. The only problem is, well, how do you find the time?

Hey! What about right now?

No, really, I mean right now. You have the tool to write a book sitting in your hand, right now. If you can read my post, then you can start writing a book. Your phone is a great tool, you should use it as one.

If you don’t have one yet, get a google account so that you can access google docs. Next, put the app on your phone so that when you have a few minutes here or there, you can turn it into book writing time.

Then, if you get the chance to sit down at a proper computer later in the day, all of your work will be available to you. You can go back and forth as you please and instead of ending every day feeling depressed and wishing that you could do something grand with your time, you are taking the steps to accomplish feats in your life.

And if you say that you cannot stand tying on your phone, then go find a small Bluetooth keyboard that you can carry in a bag or even leave in your car. They are not all that pricey, and this is relatively a small investment toward writing a book.

So, what are you waiting for? You can have your book with you where ever you go, so why not take it with you? Let’s make this happen, go write that story within you.

You got this,

Donatello,

Ps.

This is one tactic I’ve used to write on the go. What are some that you have used? Let me know down below.
